Faith Policy

At Common Ground, our guiding principle is to treat others with the same kindness and respect that we would want for ourselves. We are a community that welcomes people from all backgrounds and walks of life, and our work is inspired by the Christian faith. Our vision is to believe in the impossible and to focus on hope, and we strive to go the extra mile for the people we serve. We believe that everyone has potential and we show love and compassion to all, without conditions. We have a trustee who is responsible for ensuring that Common Ground's governance reflects our commitment to faith and inclusion.

It's important to note that while our work is inspired by the Christian faith, you don't need to be a Christian to work with us, volunteer with us, or benefit from our services. Everyone is welcome in the Common Ground community.

As it says in Matthew 22 v 37, "Love others as well as you love yourself." (MSG)
